Perfect Fall Couple Session with Laura + Julian and their puppy near Sembach, Germany

So many couples I meet tell me that the only time they’ve ever had professional photos taken was at their wedding. And especially here in Germany, just booking a photo session with the photographer of your choice is just not a thing. But why not? Why not capture this stage of a relationship as well?

So many little things to remember - like my brother Julian and his girlfriend Laura. They recently adopted a little Australian Shepard puppy and named him Oreo - which couldn’t be more perfect! Since they’ve been together for a few years already, I finally made it to a point to get them in front of my camera and make sure they will have some beautiful photos to remember this time in their relationship.

So we headed out to my hometown Schweisweiler in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany and scouted the area for a beautiful location. As it was fall season, nothing easier than that. The fall leaves and rolling hills were our perfect backdrop. A few awkward first minutes pass by, and after that the session takes its course. Fun, candid prompts, lots of moving around and snuggles is all we need to create these unposed genuine photos and even the I-hate-getting-my-pictures-taken guy is happy with the results and had a great time.

Don’t wait until your wedding or until it is too late. Don’t wait until your new puppy is all grown and let these first moments pass by. Capture every detail of it! I’ll make this a fun session for everyone, I will even bring treats for your pup!
